Supporting West Sussex Writers & Storytellers since 2011
Over seventeen years of helping independent authors bring their manuscripts to life.
Publishing a book is a deeply personal achievement. At Lee Cooke Publishing we combine traditional craftsmanship with modern digital publishing technology to give local writers a trusted partner close to home.
Lee Cooke has over seventeen years of experience in the publishing industry, both self-publishing via printing companies as well as print-on-demand services such as Amazon KDP, Lulu and Blurb. He has also assisted with copy-editing services on a range of titles. Throughout that time, the mission has remained unchanged; to offer clear, patient and practical guidance that demystifies the publishing process.
He has helped a number of people get published, both with fiction works and two volumes of cartoons, two volumes of photographic work and a comprehensive set of non-fiction reference books relating to the history of the mental health service in the UK, as well as three titles of his own.
He has also produced a video documentary and a booklet to accompany it, based on a script and information supplied to him by Colin Wells, the Greenwood Worker project, at Amberley Museum in West Sussex. This documentary can be seen online split into chapters via the author’s website, www.greenwoodowrker.co.uk and the resulting booklet is available from Amazon. See our Case Studies page for further details.
